Exhibition of František Kříž in the premises of Švihov Castle will be seen from Wednesday 5/1 until 30. 6.
František Kříž comes from southern Bohemia and devotes himself to painting, woodcarving, creating mosaics, sculptures, and also making musical instruments, often of unusual shapes and variously decorated. His guitar is listed in the Book of Records (largest guitar). He also appeared in the show Wandering Camera in 2020.

In the footsteps of mining activities in Břask
The guided tour along the educational trail “Following the traces of mining activity in Břask” with the author Ondřej Bílek will begin 1. 5. at 14:00 in front of the station in Stupna (train departure from Rokycan at 1:03 p.m., transfer in Ejpovice, return train at 5:54 p.m.).
Mining in the Radnick coal seam began four hundred years ago. However, the biggest boom in mining did not come until 200 years later under Count Šternberk, the end actually came only recently – in the 70s of the last century. For such a long time, many interesting natural and cultural-historical monuments have remained in the region. The 5.5 km long educational trail “Following the traces of mining activity in Břask” is dedicated to them. Hear how it all happened and what the educational signs do not contain. On the way, you will visit a normally inaccessible tunnel, collect plant fossils and see the last outcrop of black coal in daylight!
Antonín Dvořák – Song Recital
On Thursday 2.5. from 18:00 it will be heard in primary school Nepomuk the most beautiful songs of Antonín Dvořák on the occasion of the 120th anniversary of the composer’s death. Selections from the repertoire will include songs In a national tone, Bible songs, Gypsy melodies, Two songs for baritone, Love songs, Evening songs.
Basics of the Christian faith – Faith in everyday life
A church meeting will take place 2. 5. from 18:00 at the JA Komenského Center, Rebcova 557, Pretzels.
