Throughout the month of May, Russians can view Western equipment captured by the Kremlin regime’s soldiers in Ukraine. Vehicles and weapons will be on display in Moscow’s Victory Park, an open-air museum that otherwise commemorates the defeats of Nazi Germany.

The captured vehicles include, for example, a German Leopard tank, an American Bradley infantry fighting vehicle, a Swedish CV90 infantry fighting vehicle and a French AMX-10 RC armored vehicle, Russian newspaper Kommersant reported. The Ministry of Defense is bidding on more than 30 pieces of military equipment manufactured in Australia, Austria, Great Britain, the USA, Turkey, Ukraine, France, Finland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Sweden and South Africa.

The show is designed to celebrate the success of the Russian army against Ukrainian soldiers and the “collective West.” According to some foreign media, it can also be perceived as a provocative message from Russian President Vladimir Putin to the allies of the attacked state. Last year, during the second year of Russian aggression against Ukraine, the show was minimalistic. Only one old Soviet T-34 took part in the parade from tank equipment, Newsweek writes.

The Jars, S-400 and Iskander-M missile systems also appeared at the show. The Russians canceled the traditional aerial part of the parade. “It was one of the smallest in Russian history, it lasted less than 10 minutes,” said Anton Gerashchenko, a former adviser to Ukraine’s interior minister, on the X network, formerly Twitter, last May.

At least 23 Russian cities even canceled parades last year. Some regional officials cited “security concerns”. This year, local authorities in several Russian regions have already canceled traditional parades, the independent Russian news site Meduza reported.

“The West should have seen it. In Ukraine, the weapon that the Allies had hoped for failed. (Full article with video here)
