The first ever auction of rental housing in Olomouc begins. The registration round of this selection process will begin on Monday, May 6 at 10 a.m. Registration at the web address olomouc.eu/eaukce will be possible until Tuesday, May 21 at 10 a.m. The electronic auction will start again on May 27 at 10 a.m.

In addition to registration, the interested party must complete the application, submit the necessary documents, remove any deficiencies and pay the principal within this period, so it is not advisable to register at the last minute.
“It’s simple, it’s transparent and it’s for everyone who meets the set conditions. These include – no foreclosures, no debts to the city, including the Real Estate Administration or the Transport Company, and no problems with renting a city apartment in the past,” Deputy Mayor Kateřina Dobrozemská listed.
Anyone over the age of 18 can apply for an apartment on the third floor of the building at Žižková náměstí 3. The condition is that the auctioneer must auction the rent of the apartment for himself, which means that he must then live in the apartment himself. The interested party documents the facts required by the rules, deposits the principal in the rent auction for a specific apartment and then receives access rights to the auction application. The starting rent will be 150 kroner per square meter per month, which is about one hundred kroner less than commercial rents in the city.
All the necessary information, photos, dates for inspection of the apartment and, above all, conditions and dates for participating in the auction itself, can be found by those interested in participating in the electronic auction, in which the amount of the rent for this apartment will be auctioned, on the company’s website Property management Olomouc.
Changes in the handling of housing stock owned by the statutory city of Olomouc have been gradually introduced since the beginning of this year.
