Immediately upon entering the built-in area of the Depo Moto Art museum, which was created in old trolleybus halls near the center of Pilsen, visitors will be attracted by the large, colorful sculpture.

Among them, the dominant slide is uniquely the largest and heaviest year-round cast glass sculpture in the world. It’s called Venue. Its author is Vlastimil Bernek, a descendant of the first generation of the Bernk dynasty.

For security reasons, we are not disclosing the price of the statue, but we are talking about a price in the upper range of a million crowns, explained Marek Landa, who helped exhibit the sculptures and represents the artist at home and abroad.

Mode colored unique in 243 kilograms and its diameter is 88 centimeters. The statue decorated the World Expo 2020 in Dubai, which was opened for the summer of 2021 and 2022. It was kept in storage until then.

He will give me his old and a half kilogram sister. She got into the collection of one of the biggest art collectors in the world, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Landa said.

In Pilsen, the Sklask artist Vlastimil Bernek has a total of seven exhibits, Jaroslav Proek has three, and Ela Smrek has one. In addition to sculptures made of Eskho kilo, there is an installation room in the dark room of the museum, and works made of uranium glass are illuminated with UV light.

Oaks 6,500 years old

Please try to take the lead. For the first time in the Czech Republic, oak trunks are on display, which were unexpectedly discovered in 2016 during excavation work for the construction of a biogas station in northern Moravia. They are unique in that their age was determined by experts from Miami in the USA to be 6,500 years old using the radiocarbon method.

One was a non-petrified deva that had been preserved in the ground for a thousand years, at a depth of about six meters, and now it got the chance to start its journey. When we discovered it, we had no idea what it was. There were several reindeer herds in the country, recalled Tom Rothschein from the Ostrava company Subfossil Oak.

We called archaeologists, monuments, we even went to the Ministry of the Environment. We are the only company in the world that has produced this material legally, Rothschein pointed out, adding that it is the only one in Europe.

Recognize that it is organic material that, unlike fossils, is constantly working. We experimented with how to get the trunks out. Thanks to its age, the oak has retained the properties of the tree, it is a bit more difficult, and it has also acquired a golden black color and pattern, he pointed out. The first is called black oak due to its color change. They brought two trees and one tree to the assembly in Pilsen.

Subfossil oak is a unique material for works of art. The company has therefore teamed up with leading artists who create various products from it. In Pilsen, they were supplemented by a ton of kilos.

The unique trees showed the interest of royal families from the Near East and Europe and became part of their collection. Devo joins so many universities, men and scientific institutions around the world.

Devo can be found, for example, in the Royal Botanic Gardens in London, the Manchester Museum in Manchester, the Natural History Museum in Vienna, the National Museum in Prague or in the Geology Pavilion of Professor Poepn in Ostrava. Watch companies also showed interest in it yesterday.

We present to the world what the Czech Republic excels at. Each piece is original, noted Rothschein, with the fact that being in Moravia has not only a scientific and artistic significance, but also a spiritual one. About a thousand years ago, these tribes showed Hinduism, which knows that there is life and wisdom in trees.

Watches from esk company Prim

In the new exhibition at Depo Moto art, there is also a limited edition of watches from the company Prim. For example, a watch made in 2017 in a series of 75 pieces for the Anthropoid operation. Their price is estimated at 200 thousand crowns. Under the bust of Jan Kapar is a Jan Kapar watch, which we produced in an edition of 100 pieces. They carry during his first flight between Pardubice and Chuchl, the watchmaking art with tradition has been promoted since 1949 by the editor-in-chief of the Czech company Elton hodinsk Renata Ervenk Nvltov. He considers the idea of combining the old structure of historical vehicles, motorbikes and bicycles with modern art to be great. It is one of the only buildings, lk to Pilsen.

The construction is limited in time, it lasts only until June 2, it is open every day except Monday, Kristna Nachtmann widow, editor of the Plzeň Sob Gift Fund, which opened the wind museum to the public at the end of last year, invites to the new construction.
