I started bartending at the age of fifteen, and when I was preparing this cocktail, my wife told me that one drink from me was delicious. I think it will be an unforgettable cocktail and an unforgettable day for me. I am very glad that I succeeded, the former world champion evaluated his rush.

Nineteen bartenders from all over the world participated in the international club. Originally, there were supposed to be twenty of them, but one of the meetings was not accepted. The winner was selected by an expert jury made up of the presidents of individual branches of the International Bartender Association.

Leton ronk soute confirmed the current trend in the field of non-alcoholic cocktails, and that is minimalism. They often used simple and safe products, so there was probably a record number of dark or only lightly colored cocktails in the court, said the president of the Czech barman’s association Ale Svojanovsk.

He appreciated that the bartenders started using very innovative ingredients that gave the drinks a really unusual taste. Martin Vogeltanz was the first to bet on it, and in his cocktail he demonstrated a perfect combination of minimalism and non-traditional ingredients such as libeek and fresh from the vine, which I have never tasted in another cocktail, added Svojanovsk.

Non-alcoholic beer is becoming a trend. According to the experience of Vtzslav Cirok, whose mate died in a crash last year, piblin makes up a fifth of the offer at the bar that Pupp works at in Karlovy Vary’s Grandhotel.

The Mattoni Grand Drink Competition, which is organized in cooperation with the Czech and World Bartenders’ Association, has become the official world championship and one of the most recognized bartending competitions in the world. Visitors to Karlovy Vary will be able to taste selected cocktails from the summer collection during the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival 2024, which will take place from June 28 to July 6.

Recipe for the Nature cocktail

  • Mattoni Grand sparkling wine
  • Gordons 0.0% alcohol free 2.5 cl
  • Koldokol syrup Meduka and hemlock 1.5 cl
  • Paragon Timur Berry 1.5 cl
  • Fresh from 1 cl
  • Libeek 1 slice
  • Squeeze a lemon wedge
  • Garnish: Lemon rind, large pollen

Pour Gordons non-alcoholic gin, Paragon Timur Berry cordial, syrup and fresh from the tree into the shaker, add a dash of libek, cover with ice and warm up. Pour into a glass with ice, top up with sparkling Mattoni, shake, add a lemon wedge and garnish.
