Mountain, trekking and cross-country bikes can be rented at all four locations, e-bikes are equipped with rental shops in Pilsen, Domažlice and Klatovy, where it is also possible to store borrowed bikes for free. Scooters are also available in Klatovy.
České dráhy also prepared one new product this year. “In order to be even more accommodating to those interested in this service, in the new tourist season we are launching the possibility of online reservations in advance. It will be possible to easily reserve bikes in our e-shop, and during May this option will also be available in the Můj vlak mobile application. In this way, passengers can find a connection to the starting point of the bike trip, buy a ticket and reserve a bike in one place,” explains ČD Bike project manager Jana Rotreklová.
Bikes can be reserved no earlier than 60 days before the planned rental and no later than 24 hours in advance.
Due to the ever-increasing demand for electric bicycles, České dráhy continues to increase the number of branches that offer them this year. “From last year’s 23 rental companies that offered them last year, we will gradually reach 34 branches during the spring, i.e. half of the total number of rental companies,” added Rotreklová.

Throughout the country, bike rental offices will be open in a total of 69 stations during the tourist season, which will last until October 31. Nineteen rental shops are equipped with scooters, in selected rental shops, in addition to bicycles, scooters and bicycle trailers are also available.
In 2023, almost 7,000 customers rented a bike from ČD Bike bike rental shops. Traditionally, the greatest interest was in South Bohemian rental companies (a total of 1,267 rentals), the Karlovy Vary Region (1,221 rentals) and the Central Bohemian Region (820 rentals). In the Pilsen region, 255 people used this service.
