You can immediately register with several new doctors in Prague 13. They are gradually solving their shortage there. This part of the city alone has 70,000 inhabitants and also experienced a shortage, mainly of pediatricians. That is partly changing now.
“Prague 13 has 3 polyclinics under its administration, but at the same time it strongly supports the establishment of private clinics in its territory. And that’s because the 70,000 residents we have here need a lot of doctors, a lot of medical care. Recently, everyone has certainly noticed a shortage, especially of paediatricians . And I’m very happy that this private clinic has managed to open two pediatricians’ offices, and that’s a real feat,” praises the mayor of the Prague 13 district, David Vodrážka.
“In Prague 13, quite a few doctors recently quit, and people were hardly looking for a replacement. The existing doctors had a fairly full capacity. Even at this moment, when we were negotiating with the representative of the Association of General Practitioners for Children and Adolescents, there are 2 to 3 ambulances, which will currently be sufficient for Prague 13 for a temporary period. But it is only for a temporary moment, pointed out Markéta Hellerová, director of Innova Healthcare.
People can now visit 2 pediatricians, one practitioner for adults and also a gynecological surgery.
“We have the JL clinic in Prague 13, near the town hall, where there are specialized outpatient clinics, such as the eye clinic and magnetic resonance imaging, we have surgical departments here at the Lípa Polyclinic, and now at the Hůrka Polyclinic, in addition to other already operational outpatient clinics, of which there are 26, including several operating halls. And now we are opening the Primary Care Center, which at the moment consists of two children’s clinics, one adult practice clinic and a gynecological clinic with an operating room for one-day surgery,” added director Hellerová.
“In contrast to a classic gynecological outpatient clinic, we offer the possibility of performing procedures as a one-day surgery. We have a perfectly equipped room that allows us to perform all procedures within such a short-term hospitalization, i.e. the two or three-hour one. We have perfect equipment from the company Storz, from Invidia and means hysteroscopy, surgical hysteroscopy, and we have equipment for all procedures, such as procedures on the cervix and female genitalia, etc. We perform procedures within the framework of health insurance, as well as many procedures that are beyond the scope of that health insurance,” said TV Praha’s head, Tereze Čeledová doctor of gynecology and operating theater at Hůrka Polyclinic.
