Varnsdorf: You can now handle waste and dog fees from the comfort of your home. The city launches a citizen portal

Don’t bother with office hours and don’t waste time at the counter. Keep local fees under control easily and pay them from the comfort of your home. As part of digitalization, Varnsdorf is launching a new service – the Citizen’s Portal of the City of Varnsdorf.

Thanks to it, people will get an overview of their obligations from local fees and their due dates. All this with the option of fast card payment. This is a further streamlining of the city’s communication with citizens.

“The goal is to facilitate citizens’ communication with the office. That’s why we launched a portal that allows you to pay waste or dog fees from the comfort of your home, by directly linking payments to the official agenda. After registering on the portal, people get an up-to-date overview of their obligations, and the fact that they do not have to go to the office is a pleasant advantage for them,” explains the mayor of the city, Jan Šimek.

Citizen’s portal of the city of Varnsdorf is available on the website HERE and is divided into a public and non-public part. The public part offers information on life situations (personal documents, environment, education and others). Access to the non-public part requires login through a certified electronic identity (bank identity, Mobile key, NIA ID and others). In this part of the portal, the user gets an overview of local fees, their maturity and immediate payment options.
