A car fire following a traffic accident near Střížovice in the Kroměříž region on Sunday, May 5 after 8 p.m. had to be extinguished by professional firefighters from Kroměříž and a volunteer unit from Kvasice.

“Firefighters immediately closed the road and extinguished the fire in a flash using one attack stream.
The driver was outside the vehicle at the time of arrival, and paramedics took him into their care,” said Pavel Řezníček, spokesman for the regional fire department in Zlín.

Since there was no leakage of operating fluids and no further danger, the wreckage of the car was flipped back onto its wheels, and after handing over the site, the units returned to their bases.
