Apply for subsidies for culture: Prague will distribute 408 million crowns between artists and creators

PRAGUE – Prague will finance projects that support art and culture. The support will last until 2029, and during that time more than 400 million crowns will be distributed. Those interested can apply for this money until June 26.

The capital will provide subsidies in the following fields: theatre, music, dance, non-verbal arts and new circus, visual arts and residencies, literature, audiovisual and interdisciplinary projects. Deputy Mayor City of Prague for Culture, Jiří Pospíšil, emphasizes that this support is important for the entire Prague cultural sector. The total amount is 408 million crowns and the Department of Culture is ready to provide consultations and also offers an online seminar.

Subsidies will be provided to individual applicants based on their applications. The application deadline is from June 10 to June 26, 2024.
