An adventurous journey of projects that have a chance to change the Czech Republic – eXtra.cz

Four talented businesswomen in this year’s competition Women in Tech nominated by an expert jury this April. Now they have a long and interesting journey full of self-improvement, under the expert guidance of professionals from the technology and business sectors. Behind the Women in Tech project stands the Chamber of Commerce and the technology company Huawei.

Health, education, environment and personal development

How were this year’s participants chosen? It was mainly about fulfilling the main pillars of the Huawei Tech4All initiative. It is health, education, personal development and the environment. Dozens of projects were registered, the four selected will receive full support for the maximum development of their business. Those on whom luck didn’t smile this year, but they don’t have to despair. The organizers will allow all businesswomen who applied this year to participate in online workshops.

An adventurous journey full of tailor-made education and mentoring, the opportunity to draw on the experience of graduates of previous years of the program within the MasterMind group, but also a novelty, which is a series of four online courses under the banner of the new platform of the Women4Business Chamber of Commercewill complete these four projects this year.

Girls in the Metaverse community, with which Julie Šislerová applied. It connects women with an interest in emerging virtual worlds and technologies such as VR&AR, blockchain, NFTs, cryptocurrencies and also AI.

Klára Hrdá with her own educational program Semínkovna helping through courses and education towards self-sufficiency associated with home seeding and natural gardening.

The M.arter platform of entrepreneur Andrea Bohačíková brings an automated education system for employees on parental leave and helps them return to the company.

Via Connecta project by Sandra Lacinováwhich focuses on supporting children with learning disabilities and autism and strives for development in this area at the level of individual regions.

Better position of female entrepreneurs

“We have been supporting women for a long time to improve their position in business. The Women in Tech project is an example of how the Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with the private sector, can provide concrete help to women to be successful in their business.” notes Zdeněk Zajíček, president of the Chamber of Commerce.

The organizers see huge potential in this year’s projects. “I’m excited about their variety. By helping them raise awareness of their business, we also draw attention to important social issues. It is ideas like these and their implementation that have a chance to move our company forward,” she declared Gabriela Löbel, Corporate Social Responsibility Manager at Huawei.
