--

Hip-hop icon Travis Scott is heading to the Czech Republic for the first time. The rap event of the year will take place on July 18 in Prague’s O2 arena. Tickets for prices starting at CZK 1,690 will be on sale in the Ticketmaster and Ticketportal networks from May 10 at 10:00 a.m. Live Nation club members will have the chance to purchase them a day earlier. After the sold-out North American tour “UTOPIA – Circus Maximus Tour 2023” and the record-breaking album “UTOPIA”, Travis Scott’s tour will continue this summer with twelve concerts in arenas and stadiums, including his first performance in the Czech Republic. Travis Scott is a quintessential rapper in contemporary pop music, with 49 million albums sold in the US alone, four number one spots on the US Billboard Hot 100 and numerous accolades, including ten Grammy Award nominations, standing tall alongside the likes of Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar or Beyoncé. He has released four albums so far, on the latest, last year’s “UTOPIA”, he features a flourish of top hip hop stars (Drake, Playboi Carti, Beyoncé, The Weeknd, Yung Lean, Young Thug, Kid Cudi, SZA, James Blake and others) and the album was produced by twenty one producers. The nineteen songs deliver an intoxicating mix of ambient experiments, surprising beats and breathtaking orchestration. The record became the best-selling hip-hop album of 2023, holding the number one spot on the Billboard Top 200 for four consecutive weeks and amassing over 50 billion streams worldwide. In addition, Spotify named the collection the most streamed record in the first week of 2023, and Apple Music confirmed the album’s highest number of streams in the first day of 2023.
