A stabbed woman was found in the center of Pilsen on Tuesday afternoon. The police initially announced that the woman had died, but at 7:30 in the evening, an incredible twist occurred. Police said on social media that reports of the death were not true and that the woman was still alive.

“We are currently dealing with the death of a woman in the center of Pilsen, which is most likely a violent crime that was taken over by the regional criminal investigators,” police spokeswoman Pavla Burešová said right after the event. However, at around 7:30 in the evening, the police came with a shocking announcement. “We had information from the crime scene that the woman succumbed to her injuries on the spot. However, we now have information that the paramedics managed to save the woman and she is now under the care of doctors in a hospital,” Burešová said via the X network.
In any case, the woman’s condition is very serious, which was also confirmed by the emergency services. “We transported a middle-aged woman in critical condition to the emergency department of the Plzeň University Hospital during continuous resuscitation,” said the regional spokeswoman for the emergency medical service, Andre Divišová.
According to the Denik’s findings, the victim of the attack was supposed to be a homeless woman originally from Slovakia. She had at least one stab wound to her abdomen.

The violent act in the center shocked the residents of Pilsen. “I drove around and saw dozens of policemen. I was wondering what happened here. I would never have thought that there could be a case of murder in the center of Pilsen this afternoon,” a woman passing by told Deník.
