Today after five o’clock in the afternoon, a city police patrol in Pilsen noticed a fast-moving BMW vehicle and measured it at a speed of eighty-five kilometers per hour on a section where the speed limit is fifty. Of course, the patrol went after the vehicle and repeatedly called the driver to stop.

However, the man behind the wheel did not respond to these calls and started driving at an even higher speed. The patrol chased the vehicle up to the Zborovská x Samaritská intersection, where the driver lost control while turning right and skidded, as a result of which he drove in the opposite direction and crashed into the back of an oncoming Škoda Octavia in which a man, a woman and a small boy were traveling.

After the impact, the BMW continued to skid for several meters before flipping onto its side at a pedestrian crossing, which continued for more than fifty meters before hitting concrete barriers that flipped it onto its roof and then continued for about thirty meters.

All emergency services went to the scene of the accident. But it turned out that all the participants in the traffic accident were extremely lucky and escaped without injury.

Firefighters secured the scene of the accident, carried out fire prevention measures and gave the little boy a Lifeguard dragon to relieve stress.

A well-known young boxer and wrestler from Pilsen was behind the wheel. “The driver of a BMW vehicle, born in 2000, was driving in the direction of travel from Zborovská Street to Samaritská Street, according to the information found so far, he did not adjust his driving speed to his abilities, the characteristics of the vehicle and the state of the road, he skidded the vehicle and drove into the opposite direction, where he collided with with a Škoda Octavia of a driver born in 1985, then hit the curb and the vehicle overturned onto the roof.
There were no injuries in the traffic accident, breath tests were negative for both drivers. During the investigation of the traffic accident, the police officers found out that the driver of the BMW vehicle has a valid sentence banning him from driving all motor vehicles. Two other people were traveling in the Škoda Octavia, a woman born in 1993 and a child born in 2021.” the police spokeswoman told us.
