The former singer of the legendary Sonic Youth will perform for the first time with her solo project in Prague. This will be one of the few opportunities to see Kim Gordon on the European continent. In addition to the Czech stop, they will also stop at the Open’er Polish festival, the legendary Glastonbury or perhaps in Berlin.
He will present his dark world full of madness, a mirror of society and uncompromising beats with his band in less than two months. At the amazing age of 71, Kim has created a critically acclaimed and very fresh-sounding sophomore album The Collective, which he produced Justin Raisen. He is also responsible for the actions Yves Tumor or Charlie XCX.
Gordon was inspired by the novella The Candy House from the author Jennifer Egan. “On this record, I wanted to express the absolute madness that I feel around me right now,” describes the just-mentioned record and she couldn’t have described it better. That she demonstrated them in her life form a month ago on a popular American show The Jimmy Kimmel Show.

American singer Kim Gordon brings a mixture of experimental rock, psychedelic and, among other things, trap to the premises of the Smíchov club MeetFactory on Tuesday July 2, 2024. The organizers are already announcing the last 100 tickets on sale before they sell out.
