And if you don’t want to watch hockey alone at home in front of the TV, there are several options in Klatovsk where you can enjoy a good atmosphere together with other fans. The ceremonial opening of the World Hockey Championship will take place on May 10 at 4 p.m., and at the same time you can also meet at the Klatovský dvůr restaurant, where hockey will literally be alive. A new association, Klátím sport, was also founded on the initiative of former and current athletes and enthusiasts in Klatovy. His wish is to connect people through the joy of movement, sports and watching professionals in various sports fields together. Now in ice hockey. “A large LED screen will be installed in the parking lot so that it can also be viewed from the terrace. We will expand the seating area and we will all enjoy a proper atmosphere. As part of the opening, there will also be an autograph session by Klato schoolchildren Radek Mužík, Adam Jiříček and Patrik Petruška,” enticed restaurant owner Václav Jandoš.
From 4:20 p.m. you will be able to watch the Slovakia – Germany match, at 6:00 p.m. the hockey players will arrive, followed by interviews and an autograph session, and from 8:20 p.m. it will start and the Czech hockey players will play their first game against Finland. You will be able to watch the entire championship there.
