Safety preventive action in the Czech Switzerland National Park

ÚSTECKÝ KRAJ – HŘRENSKÝ – Joint patrols of Czech and German policemen were once again supplemented by guards of the national park.

Today, Děčín police officers are carrying out a large-scale preventive security action in the area of ​​Hřensko. Due to the experience of the past years, on the day of the national holiday “Vatertag” in Germany, the Czech Switzerland National Park will be visited by many tourists. Unfortunately, the increased number of violations of the public order is also related to this. The goal of the event is to prevent and inform park visitors about the risks of fire related to inappropriate behavior.

Today, in a selected locality around Hřensk, you have the opportunity to meet joint patrols of Czech and German police officers together with the national park guard, who will provide us with a detailed knowledge of the terrain. The performance of the Děčín police officers was supported by other elements of the order police, such as the special order unit, river department, service dog handlers and mounted police from Liberec and Prague. Policemen on horses cross inaccessible terrain. Police officers on four-wheelers will focus their attention on access roads, where the entry of vehicles is prohibited and on other selected places, where there is a ban on making fires or spending the night. We will also have support from the air in this event. From the Czech side, drones will monitor the situation.

With this preventive safety action, we want to draw attention to the need to behave responsibly and protect one of the most valuable values, which is undoubtedly nature.
