As part of the European mini-tour, which only includes Prague, Warsaw and Vienna, avant-garde indie art-rockers Princess Goes will visit our capital. If you haven’t heard of the group yet, many of you will surely recognize singer and world-famous actor Michael C. Hall. He became remembered for his leading roles in series Dexter or rest in peace.

Actor Michael C. Hall was originally supposed to perform independently at the previous year’s festival Rock For People as part of the accompanying program, but the performance had to be canceled at the last minute. But this time the organizers invited him with his whole band. It was created in 2018 and consists of a keyboardist Matt Katz-Bohenthe drummer Peter Yanowitz and he takes care of the singing Hall.

He thus joins the crowd of fellow actors who have gone beyond the cameras, the theater floors and the glare of spotlights to the musical path as well. They need to be random David Duchovny, Jack Black with his Tenacious D, Keeanu Reeves with Dogstar or Kiefer Sutherland.

The Princess Goes (formerly Princess Goes to the Butterfly Museum) mixes “a mix of 70’s disco, 80’s new wave, 90’s alternative and contemporary electronic dance music to create a unique sound all their own,” says the organizer. The latest of two studio albums Come of Age was released in October last year. The band will arrive in Prague for the Czech premiere Futurum Music Bar on Wednesday June 26, 2024.

Tickets are available on the Rock For People website and the GoOut portal.
