The unique spaces known as Museum Kampa on the Prague island of the same name come alive in the summer with a selected music program. They will be taken care of by a diverse mix of Czech artists, who will have no difficulty adjusting to the tasteful museum environment.

On Summer scene of Prague Kampa Museum there will be no shortage of music programs in the summer of 2024 either. This sunny season on the picturesque island already June 24th will start Ondřej Havelka and his group Melody Makers. For years, this artist and his entire ensemble has been considered the doyen of swing and jazz music that can be heard in our time. This time, the group will prepare a collection called About love and other swing rage. In the words of the main protagonist, there will be such compositions in which “passion is heard in violent riffs and tenderness in melancholic cantilenas”. Brown June 25th then the unearthly voice of a popular singer will resound through the same space Dan Bárty, for whom it was always a breeze to exceed the common standards of popular music. The artist will perform in proven collaboration with his band Illustratosphere.

As it usually happens, the whole summer will fly by – but its end will be made pleasant by our favorite actor Igor Orozovich, who has recently been making a name for himself in the field of music as well. Together with his band, in which he is supported by experienced musicians, he will present August 29 this year’s debut album titled When a man takes off the darkness. In his work, the performer emphasizes the textual side, which is full of poetic images, darkness, perspective, electric current and eroticism. Finally 30th of August on The summer scene of the Kampa Museum will be played and sung by a female artist who has been popular for generations Lenka Filipová. Her program will be named after one of the most popular songs from her pen, viz River of life. During the performance, there will be songs that have been popular for years, as well as crossovers into Celtic folklore.
