Even before the tournament of company football teams from Ústí, which will take place on May 14 at the TJ Střekov football field, we asked company bosses, leaders and captains, who received sports-oriented questions. How did Tomáš Pöchmann, representative of the Edgewell football team, answer?
What led you to participate in the Deník Employee League?
Last season was good, and the biggest attraction is to play alongside Michal Karrmann, you can’t say no to that.
Do you go to a tournament with the goal of winning, or do you use the “Coubertinian” words that the main thing is to participate?
We are definitely going to win. Whoever says that you can only participate is lying.
Can you describe your team? Who will be the terror of the opponents?
Speed, technique, jump, play with the body, lightness on the ball, incredible football thinking, this is Aleš Kořínek.
If you and your colleagues talk about football, what (club, competition, player…) do you most often discuss?
We like to laugh at football, so we usually discuss Manchester United.
Purely hypothetically: if you had the chance to take one of the current football stars to the team, who would you point to?
I try in vain to find a weak link in our team, we don’t need any professional, we have Aleš.
The best team of the Deník Employee League can choose a football trip as a reward. Which match in Europe are you excited to see?
We agreed on that, we would definitely like to see Arsenal’s last game of the season. It would be nice to see with your own eyes that in their best season in the last 10 years, they won nothing again.
