Traditionally, the remaining parties of the coalition Spolu – TOP 09 and KDU-ČSL would be outside the parliament. Both parties would gain 3.5 percent. TOP 09 would be outside the Chamber for the first time since April 2023.

On the other hand, the communists found themselves just below the five percent threshold guaranteeing parliamentary seats with a potential gain of 4.5 percent, the same number of votes SOCDEM would have received. Jindřich Rajchlo would then win PRO 2022 by half a percentage point less.

While ANO, ODS and Pirates are still around the same level, Median’s electoral model shows a significant loss of the SPD, apparently in favor of PRO 2022 and Trikolora (2 percent), which target the same voters. According to the model, the Greens would achieve three percent support.

According to the agency, the higher support of non-parliamentary parties could be related to the ongoing campaign for the elections to the European Parliament, which brought some groups back to the awareness of the wider public.

YES could choose

In a hypothetical conversion to mandates, ANO would win 92 seats, ODS 41 and Pirates 30. The SPD movement would represent 20 deputies and STAN 17. ANO could form a majority coalition with any of the remaining parties, theoretically combining the constitutional majority with ODS (133 seats ) and with Pirates (122 seats).

The electoral potential, which shows how many votes the group would get if it received votes from all voters who plan to vote for them and do not rule out participation in the elections, reaches 41.5 percent for the ANO movement. In the case of the ODS, it is at the level of 21 percent, with the Pirates at 18.5 percent. The STAN movement could reach 14.5 percent of the people, SOCDEM 12 percent, and SPD, TOP 09 or Přísaha 11.5 percent. The potential for PRO 2022 is 10.5 percent, and in the case of the KSČM, 10 percent

According to the survey, 62.5 percent of voters would turn out for the elections, participation in the last parliamentary elections in 2021 was 65.43 percent.

The survey took place from March 5 to April 3 and involved 1,041 respondents.

675 candidates will be vying for 21 Czech seats in the European elections
