West Ham United will welcome city rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the 31st round of the Premier League. The Hammers are currently in seventh place and could secure a place in next year’s European Cups. Spurs have dropped out of the top four and are fifth. But they will certainly still fight for the Champions League.

West Ham led 3-1 early in the second half against Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon but conceded three times in the final 13 minutes to lose at St. James Park 3:4. The Hammers are now on a three-match winless run in England’s top flight and have picked up just two points from their last nine games, leaving them seventh in the table, a point ahead of eighth-placed Newcastle and four behind sixth-placed Manchester United, who have a game in hand.

David Moyes’ men now face league games against Tottenham and Wolverhampton Wanderers before heading to Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen for the Europa League quarter-final first leg on April 11. West Ham have collected 24 points from 15 home league games this season, suffering just three defeats, and now welcome Tottenham who have won just six of their fourteen away league games.

The Hammers will be aiming for a league double with Tottenham after recording a 2-1 win in north London in their first clash of the season. When the two teams met at the London Stadium last year, the points were shared after a 1-1 draw. Tottenham will be coming off the back of Saturday afternoon’s win over Luton, which Son Heung-min secured with his 86th-minute strike.

Luton led 1-0 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium early in the match but leveled early in the second half. At the end of the match, Son decided the victory for Ange Postecoglou’s men, who have won 56 points from 29 league matches this season. Spurs are fifth in the table, eight points ahead of sixth-placed Manchester United, while they are three points behind fourth-placed Villa and have a game in hand. A three-goal success on Tuesday would be enough for the north London side to return to the top four ahead of Villa’s clash with Manchester City on Wednesday.

Tottenham lost 0-3 at Fulham in their last away game before the international break and it’s hard to gauge what to expect from Spurs as they were rather lucky to beat Luton on Saturday. Postecoglou’s side don’t have to think about the FA Cup or the European Cups in the final months of the season, allowing him to fully focus on the league. In addition, fifth place could be enough to qualify for next season’s Champions League, so it will be the Hotspurs’ main task to stay ahead of sixth-placed Manchester United.

West Ham United – probable line-up:
Fabianski – Coufal, Mavropanos, Zouma, Emerson – Ward-Prowse, Soucek – Bowen, Paqueta, Kudus – Antonio.

Tottenham Hotspur – probable line-up:
Vicario – Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie – Sarr, Bissouma – Johnson, Maddison, Son – Richarlison.

Tipsport odds: 3.48 – 4.22 – 1.99
