According to her, the measures include law enforcement officers, including the law enforcement unit, as well as police officers from the criminal and traffic police services, as well as police officers from the anti-conflict team and constables from the Olomouc Municipal Police.

“Policemen will monitor the arrival of fans in Olomouc and movement around the city, both before the start and after the end of the match. We are in close contact with both football clubs and the organizing service at the stadium,” said the spokeswoman.

It is mainly a preventive measure, the aim of which is to ensure public order in the city, the safety of citizens and also smooth and safe traffic on the roads not only in the city, but also on the access roads from Prague to Olomouc. “We appeal to both fans and the general public to strictly follow our instructions,” added Zajícová.

The last tickets available disappeared from online sales on Friday morning. In theory, tickets from any unpaid reservations, of which there are currently around 120, can still go on sale. The club stated this on its website.

At the Andrová Stadium, which has a capacity of 12,451 seats, everything is ready to surpass the highest attendance in the independent Czech league. The current record was set in 2000, when 12,160 spectators saw Sigma’s match against Sparta. “Ninety tickets were not included in the sale for security reasons,” added Olomouc club spokesman Jiří Fišara.
