Her dreams still appear in English, but she speaks Czech perfectly. A word of English rarely enters her speech. “I have the feeling that life in Prague is not as stressful as in America,” says the twenty-six-year-old striker, who won two doubles in the last two years in the Slavist jersey.

And if they beat Sparta in the derby, they will come close to a championship hat-trick. On Saturday in Eden from 3 p.m.

“Perhaps I only miss the Californian sunshine and the beach here sometimes,” she smiles looking at the soft grass after having a healthy lunch at the training area in Upper Měcholup.

Without meat? Why then?
It’s been a few years since I dropped meat from my diet. I saw the movie The Game Changers on Netflix, where athletes are looking for a way to eat to perform at their best. Not all bodies are built for a meaty diet. I tried to leave out the meat and it suits me. But I eat fish, vegetables, legumes, tofu. I feel like I have more energy.

Maybe I would be a physical therapist or a nurse like my mom. Although she originally started out in America with her dad as a house painter.
