The 20-year-old defender is returning to the Czech Republic after two seasons in the junior QMJHL – this year he collected 22 points in 68 games in the Halifax jersey. He made a great name for himself in the country mainly at the junior championship in 2023, where he contributed to winning silver medals with reliable performances.

“After the season overseas, my agent and I planned where to go next. I knew I couldn’t play junior anymore and I had to switch to adult hockey. Already during the season I was in contact with Energia, from whom I received an offer. The team also has Mr. Patera, who had me in Boleslav for two years,” Moravec describes in an interview with hokekv.cz.

“It’s definitely not going to be fun after two years overseas. I will have to get used to a wider rink and game tactics,” the Havlíčkobrod resident realizes. “I will make great demands on myself so that I can work harder and harder every day. And above all, I want to help the team with my performances.”
