Today before four o’clock in the afternoon, a very serious traffic accident occurred on road No. 23111 between Plasy and Obora, during which a passenger vehicle left the road and hit a tree.
A wedge was reported from the scene and, apparently, a very serious injury to the driver, so not only did all the ground rescue services go to the accident, but also the LZS helicopter took off.
Unfortunately, despite all the efforts of the interveners, the man, who was wedged in the wreckage of the car, could not be saved and the doctor had to pronounce him dead.
“The ground crews of the RV and RZP and LZS Líně intervened at the scene of the incident. After the rescue, lay CPR was carried out on the spot under the guidance of a ZOS operator. Our rescuers took over the fifty-year-old man and started cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Despite all the efforts, the man succumbed to his injuries incompatible with life on the spot and the doctor pronounced exitus. The coroner was called to the scene.” added the information of the spokesperson of the rescuers.
“The 50-year-old driver was driving a Škoda Octavia on a third-class road in the direction from Obory to Nebřeziny, when for reasons that have not yet been determined exactly, he drove off the road to the left while passing a right-hand bend, where he and the vehicle crashed into a tree. Unfortunately, despite all the efforts of the rescuers, succumbed to his injuries. The man was traveling alone in the vehicle,” a police spokesperson told us, adding that the accident will be further investigated by criminal investigators from the Plzeň-Venkov regional department, who have ordered a forensic autopsy, including blood sampling.
