The LA Clippers and Sacramento Kings face off tonight in what will be a major battle for the sake of the Western Conference and the Pacific Division.
The Clippers have one player listed on their injury report – Kawhi Leonard. Kawhi is listed as out due to right knee soreness, and it’s something that developed just today. Clippers head coach Ty Lue revealed that Leonard went back home to LA due to the injury. Paul George, James Harden, and Russell Westbrook all listed as available to play against the Sacramento Kings.
The Sacramento Kings have six players listed on their injury report: Kevin Huerter, Malik Monk, Jordan Ford, Colby Jones, Mason Jones, and Jalen Slawson. Kevin Huerter is out with a left shoulder dislocation, Malik Monk is out with a right knee strain, Jordan Ford is out with a G League two-way, Colby Jones is out with a G League assignment, Mason Jones is out with a G League two-way, and Jalen Slawson is out with a G League two-way. De’Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis are both listed as available against the Clippers.
Right now, the LA Clippers have a four-game advantage over the Sacramento Kings between the 4th and 8th seed. If the Clippers lose tonight, they’ll only be 1.5 games ahead of the Dallas Mavericks for the 4th seed. If the Kings lose tonight, they’ll only be one game ahead of the Lakers for the 10th seed. However, if the Kings win, they’ll be tied with the Phoenix Suns for the 7th seed.
