12:00 – Europe continues to grow, BCPP increases thanks to Erste and Monet, the dollar strengthens, oil and gold weaken slightly

During the morning, the European stock markets are growing very slightly, thus continuing the positive mood from the beginning of the week. It is the fifth sector with an index growth of 1.9%. On the other side is the banking sector with a decrease in the index by 0.5%.

Investments follow the continuation of the result of the round and thus come out of the central banks. The latter was supported by Bundesbank Governor Joachim Nagel, who stated that he would support interest rates at the annual meeting in the event of a favorable macroeconomic development, but indicated that the first rate cut would not necessarily mean that there will be further declines in any other way. According to Nagel, given the current uncertainty, it is important to observe the development of interest rates.

The euro weakens against the dollar in the morning.

In the morning, the koruna weakened against the euro and the dollar.

This morning, oil fell slightly from the public beast towards below 88 USD per barrel of Brent, apparently in response to the strengthening dollar.

Gold is very similar, heading below $2,315 per ounce.

The market is apparently taking the information about STAN’s proposals for the eventual introduction of a sectoral tax for the banking sector in stride. In the same way, the activities of minority shares of the EZ are exempt from state regulation.
