Emma and Bruce first met in 2007 and married on the idyllic island of Turks and Caicos in March 2009. In addition to Bruce’s three daughters from his previous marriage to Demi Moore, the couple have two daughters together – nine-year-old Evelyn and 11-year-old Mabel.

At the beginning of the year, the actor’s family told the world that Bruce’s aphasia, cognitive impairment, developed into frontotemporal dementia (FTD)which interferes with his ability to speak and be who we know him to be. Emma also highlighted how challenging the holiday season and anniversaries can be when you’re going through a tough time. “But this year it was really about community – building community and connection. That was my lifeline,” she stated with gratitude. The family of Bruce Willis has publicly expressed their deep gratitude for the support and love they received from fans after the actor’s diagnosis was made public.

Cybill Shepherd continues her acting career
