I dare say that one of those who hinder the development and progress of the whole society are those people who are willing and allow themselves to be manipulated into working hard. Although someone makes money from this and can rub their hands, how they managed to catch such a useful working idiot, but it does a lot of harm to the whole society. Regardless of the fact that it destroys the health of the worker himself.

Even though it doesn’t seem like it at first glance and it seems that it would be best if all people worked hard, the opposite is true. This is perhaps also the reason why people who don’t push themselves that much more often earn more money than those who can push themselves. They are rewarded by the company for working just right.

Get a job in social services? But where

So let’s take a look at social services. People who take care of mentally and physically ill and disabled people do a really demanding job there. I often hear that such work is extremely exhausting, that it is mentally demanding and at the same time requires physical strength, if one works, for example, with immobile persons.

Now let’s look at this matter from another side. Society is terrified that as robotics and, more recently, the use of artificial intelligence increases, thousands of people will be out of a job. Well, now let’s put the simple facts together. If people in social services refuse to do hard work for little money and long shifts, society will have to reorganize quickly. Can’t it? But where!

After all, we have thousands of people here who, due to robotization and modern technologies, have nothing to do… And I would like to point out that while maintaining the same amount of resources and food, there is less work and the same amount of people. And the same amount of people probably don’t dream about that much more, do they? Therefore, there is an easy solution where the same work in social services can be divided among a larger number of people, and more money can be obtained for it, for example from public sources.

A childish idea of capitalism or what is it?

That it seems too uncapitalist to you? And what are you, actually, that you suffer from such a fixation on capitalism, one could even say a capitalist deviation? Is there still anyone today who feels that this economic system, which is rammed with subsidies from all sides like an enlightened goose gobbles food to be fat enough, has something to do with capitalism? So I don’t have that feeling.

On the other hand, I see that the society is deliberately strangling those who are willing to work hard, as much as possible, so that their hard work is not lost. But it is short-sighted and harmful to society itself, it has self-destructive features and the remnants of an ancient slave mentality, and those who work so hard should put a stop to it.

Workers in heavy industry

Other such examples would probably be with people who work in heavy industry and mining. In such a case, for example, these people should refuse to work more than a few hours a day, or it should also be considered that the most problematic and harmful activities, which have a negative effect on both people and the environment, would be good to the greatest extent possible replace with something else. Or that the company would also have to give up a part of its persistently desired comfort.

That you find it too idealistic? So you’re probably some office sitters who have never really worked hard, but wish others a bang for their own comfort, and you have no idea what such hard work entails, do you? However, the fact that you cannot imagine how else things could be organized and arranged does not mean that it is not possible.

You’d be surprised how many people who don’t look like that at first glance have no significant experience with physical labor. I recently spoke with an elderly lady in a village who had a big house, she had someone to take care of everything, she only watered the flowers and cooked. She confided in me that even as a young teacher she had a traumatic experience of going to a potato field for a few days as a part-time job. I was quite surprised, because I myself have no problem with physical work and physical education. I have not missed working in the fields or in the vineyard, and at least I have a clear idea of what it is to work from morning to night with my hands.

Change must come from those who work hard

People who don’t work hard usually don’t have much sympathy for those who do, so I say again that the change must come from those who work hard, and those people should start rejecting such work and start persistently complaining that there is no reason for anyone to toil like an ox in this spoiled society while others just sit back and reap the benefits. Look at France, the “yellow vests” didn’t like it there.

And it’s the same with mental work, which is often more demanding than physical work. Don’t like the words of those who themselves can’t use their brains productively and creatively and scold you just because they can’t see how you move your hands in your mental work.

The same applies to experts. For example, doctors, some work like horses, and the more they work, the less people will want to be doctors. It used to be prestigious and people were happy to apply for these positions, but after covid the whole public showed how unbearably ungrateful they are and doctors stopped enjoying their work and they don’t want to work so hard anymore. Take an example from them. The company should motivate enough capable people to want to do quality work under reasonable conditions. And that’s not happening.

The hard work of some does not benefit the others who benefit from it

Let’s be practical. When some are here toiling like horses and others wallowing, some will be beaten, sick, and wronged, and others will be bored, overfed, and depressed. This is about the gap between the rich and the poor. I dare say it is caused by people who are willing to work hard on others.

Why are you doing this? There is plenty of wealth in this world, so claim it and don’t do anything useful to anyone. Then at least it will happen that the useless oxen will not be able to get out and roll so much at someone else’s expense.

Now I heard about a new political group, and the faces that took pictures there, in my opinion, fell exactly into the group of those who lived on empty talk and only had a lick in their lives. How about if those who really worked hard appeared on the political scene? To at least relax a bit…
