Two horses that went on a rampage in central London have undergone operations and are in a serious condition

--

Defense Minister James Cartlidge told Sky News that a total of five horses were spooked, four of which broke free and ran around the city in panic for tens of minutes. “It was about five horses. Three of them are fine, while the remaining two are unfortunately in a serious condition,” the minister said.

According to detailed information, the horses injured themselves and also ten people, including the riders, who were thrown from the saddle at the beginning of the dramatic escapade.

The worst situation is for a pair of stallions whose gallop through the streets of the metropolis was caught by passers-by on mobile phones and these videos flooded social networks. A white horse named Vida rammed into the taxi’s silver Mercedes, causing cuts and bleeding on his chest.

Quaker broke the windshield of the bus

“I didn’t see him hit my car, but it was a very strong impact. People then ran up to me to see if I was okay,” said a taxi driver who was waiting for a customer at the time.

A dark horse named Quaker injured himself by breaking the windshield of a double-decker bus at another location.

Cartlidge assured that escapes by frightened army horses were very rare, although there were an average of 150 of them on the streets of London every day. Wednesday’s incident took place after the horses spooked as they passed a construction site where loud noises were coming from.
