When asked why the delivery is taking so long, Pavel answered: “The more parties know about the initiative, the greater the competition will be. On the one hand, it was necessary to make the initiative public in order to gain the support of other countries, but on the other hand, we also revealed our cards, which of course Russia is now taking advantage of. This is one of the reasons why the initiative is not progressing as quickly as we would like.”

According to Pavel, the West did not lose hope in Ukraine’s victory, but throughout the war “was very cautious in its support. From the beginning, the goal was to prevent the escalation of the conflict. There were long debates about each new stage.”
