The parking lot is located in a closed complex near the Vondelpark in the sought-after museum district. “On the most famous and exclusive shopping street in the Netherlands,” adds broker Jeel Heule, referring to the well-known Pieter Cornelisz Hoofstraat.
However, the expenses do not end with the possible purchase of a parking space. The owner must pay one hundred euros (2,500 CZK) every month as a fee to the company that manages the building.
An alternative option is to rent this parking space – for 750 euros per month (CZK 18,750), this time without an additional hundred for the administrator.
“Considering the area where the garage is located, the price is not bad. Parking spaces are becoming more and more scarce,” assured Heule, according to the northern Het Parool. “We expect to sell the stand at the mentioned price. Six or seven interested parties have already come to see it. One offered 400,000 euros (10 million) and was rejected,” he added.
Hundreds of thousands of apartments are missing
Property prices are an explosive topic in the Netherlands. According to a study from last year, there is a shortage of about 390,000 apartments in the country, which drives their prices to dizzying heights and affordable housing is very difficult to find.
