We parked our caravan in sight of the magnificent ball and enjoyed the view of the show it presented. Unfortunately, only a few minute loops. The rooftop on Fremont Street can conjure up a 100x better show. With full anticipation, we went to see the beautiful inside. The building is absolutely spectacular and the spaces are still incredibly large and somehow empty. Apart from the failed imitations of some robots surrounded by astonished Amikas, the last giant spaces were empty. We bought tickets right up to the last row in the middle and that turned out to be a great advantage. The screen curves all the way up the ceiling and the audience in the lower rows have to look above themselves to get something out of the film. The direction of the film itself was a complete farce without a plot and it was Beck’s film about the beauties of America. However, the aerial shots of the national park were breathtaking. If I looked down at the edge of the plate, I had the feeling that we were flying in some giant interplanetary ship.

The spectacle was definitely worth it, even if its creators still have a lot to fine-tune in order to be able to compete with the much cheaper and awesome 4D shows that you can see in amusement parks across the USA.
