The Chinese now feel like being angry. They made their most daring music video yet

--

“I Feel Like Getting Angry became the anthem of everyone who comes to our concerts to have fun last summer. And we enjoy it too. That’s why we decided to contact Michal Skořepa, whose conception of clips we really enjoy. We thought he was the best choice for this song,” says singer and guitarist Michal Malátný.

The whole band took part in the script and production, for the most part the ideas of Michal Malátný were reflected here, which the director translated into the most daring clip the band has ever made.

The exaggeration is also enhanced by the fact that the band’s frontman’s daughters and wife played a part in the story, as well as loyal fans and friends of the band.

Filming took place in a rehearsal room, so fans have the opportunity to see places they normally don’t get to. František Černý, singer and guitarist of the group Čechomor, appears in the clip in a pink rabbit costume.

“Our thirtieth anniversary will be marked by many surprises for our fans. A few weeks ago we recorded ten of our old hits at Rockfield studio, which we wanted to give a new face to. During the year, fans will also see them with new clips. Some of our biggest hits, for example Drobná parallela or Pantyhose, never had their music video, and we thought that was a great shame. Now they will get it and we are very much looking forward to it,” adds Malátný.

The thirty-year celebrations will culminate on December 11 and 12 in Prague’s O2 arena. Chinaski will play two consecutive concerts here.

“It was a wonderful surprise for us how quickly the first concert sold out. That’s why we decided to add the second one just a day later. Thanks to our fans for how quickly tickets are selling for him too. It is a big commitment for us and we can promise that we will give our best at the concerts. We decided to play an extended playlist, and the fans will hear thirty songs that are inherent to our band,” concludes Michal Malátný.

Among the thirty hits that the band will play, but the list of which is kept secret for now, there will also be songs that the band hasn’t played at concerts for many years.
