The day before yesterday, a wish appeared on the Twitter profile of the Prince and Princess of Wales accompanied by a picture of the birthday boy, which was taken by Kate. “Happy 6th birthday Prince Louis! Thanks for all the kind wishes,” the couple said on social media X.
Louis was born as the third child of Prince William and his wife. It means that he is currently fourth in line to the British throne. He is preceded in death by his dad as well as older siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
The family atmosphere is currently affected by the diagnosis that Princess Kate heard. In March, she told the public that doctors had discovered cancer. In the published video, she said that the planned abdominal surgery in January was successful. According to her, it was initially assumed that it was not an oncological problem. However, the latest tests confirmed it.
“It was, of course, a huge shock and William and I have been doing everything we can to process it and make arrangements for our family,” the mother-of-three said. Doctors advised her to undergo chemotherapy. “It took me a while to recover from this difficult operation and start treatment,” she explained.
Kensington Palace has not disclosed what type of cancer the princess is dealing with. At the same time, the monarchy emphasized that she too has the right to privacy in matters of her health.
