Latvia, the Netherlands, Austria, Norway, Israel, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Georgia and Armenia made it to the finals in the second semi-final thanks to the votes of the audience.

While his performance with the pathetic ballad “Hurricane” did not go too far, Eden Golan received the same enthusiastic applause as all the other contestants and finally advanced to the final, which will take place again on May 11 in Malmö.

Due to protests and fears of violence, security is tight in Mali. Metal barricades and large concrete blocks are located around the hall where Eurovision is held. All entrants must undergo a security check and go through a metal detector, they can only take one purse inside.

During the Eurovision, a policeman from all over the country came to watch, colleagues from Denmark and Norway also arrived. Protests are also expected at Saturday’s final.
