Yesterday after four o’clock in the afternoon, there was a traffic accident in Plzeňská Street in Stříbro, during which two passenger cars collided.

An injury was reported from the scene, so all emergency services went to the accident. Firefighters secured the scene and carried out firefighting measures, while paramedics took care of the injured man.

“A man born in 1996 was transported to the Lochotín University Hospital with minor injuries,” the rescuers told us.

“The driver of the Opel vehicle, born in 1982, was driving in the village of Stříbro on road no. II/605 and, according to the information so far established, while passing a right-hand bend, he drove into the opposite direction for reasons not yet determined, where he collided with the left front part of the oncoming Ford vehicle. A breath test was conducted on the driver of the Opel vehicle, and the police found 2.29 per million of alcohol. the police spokeswoman added, adding that the police are still investigating the exact cause and circumstances of the accident.
