The largest Easter markets in the Czech Republic continue in the center of Prague. During the Easter weekend, the most visitors regularly arrive from all over the country and from abroad. Guests of the markets can enjoy a varied program every day on both squares, especially the little ones, for whom there are children’s workshops. There will be folk songs, an old Prague band, Romany folklore, a brass band and a theater. The Easter markets in the Old Town and Wenceslas Square continue until April 7.
Thousands of visitors enjoy the unrepeatable spring atmosphere of Prague in the center of the Czech capital every day.
Popular is the photo corner with a giant hare, green beer, Czech gingerbread and traditional sausages. In addition, during the Easter weekend, everyone can expect a varied dose of folklore, ethnographic, singing, dancing and children’s choirs, which will perform on the stage of the Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square.
“Easter weekend is special because the workshops for children will be from Saturday to Monday. The smallest visitors will enjoy making various Easter wishes and decorations.” clarifies Simona Cermákovámarket program manager.
As part of the markets, visitors can also see their knitting at a selected pomla stand.
