The defendant Kučera, on the other hand, completely denied guilt from the beginning. He even claims that he was not in the house at the time of the attack, he said he only saw the damaged body on December 3, when he kicked the door of the office where the dead woman was lying.

The meeting between the partners and the mother in Libišany at the end of November 2022 ended tragically. The defendants beat the woman’s head on the ground, then hit her repeatedly with a heavy weight, finally inflicting several wounds on her head and neck with a drill.
According to an expert from the field of forensic medicine, the victim must have died in pain. They poured acid over the dead body to make detection more difficult, and the police were not notified of the body’s alleged discovery until several days later.
While the woman testified that her mother was murdered by the defendant, he claims that the woman was found dead on December 3.
“It is not possible to prove that the reason for the visit was the death of the mother,” explained the chairwoman of the senate, why the senate ultimately deleted the words that the act took place after a prior agreement from the judgment.
According to the judge, it was documented that the visit took place after an agreement with the injured party and that even the drill did not have to be brought purposefully.
