According to data from the executor’s chamber and credit registers, the share of foreclosures per population and the volume of overdue debts are decreasing. A decrease in the share of enforcement proceedings also occurred in the Pilsen region. At the same time, the number of people with more than 5 foreclosures is increasing. We’ll show you how to deal with foreclosure.

The number of foreclosures is decreasing

Data from the executor’s chamber show that the number of people in foreclosure is decreasing. In the Czech Republic, it is currently less than 10%. However, it is not possible to reduce the total number of foreclosures. This means that more debts fall on one person in enforcement. The number of people who have 5 or more foreclosures is increasing. The good news is that hundreds of thousands of people have been able to get out of foreclosure, helped by the debt relief institute, the popular grace summer or careful loan restructuring and refinancing.

Where are the most foreclosures

An interesting indicator is the share of persons in execution in relation to the total number of persons. According to the indicator, the region of Ostrava, Havířov and Karviná is most affected by foreclosures, where the share of people in foreclosure exceeds 10%. The highest proportion of people in debt has long been in the cities of Chomutov, Aš, Jáchymov, Most, Litvínov or Ústí nad Labem. You will also discover cities where the share of people in foreclosures is close to 20%, such as Lobendava, Bílina, Šluknov, Duchcov, etc.

Foreclosures also affect residents of large cities such as Prague, Brno, Olomouc, České Budějovice, Pardubice or Pilsen. In larger cities, the share of people in foreclosure is around 6%, which is why Pilsen stands out, where the share of people affected by foreclosure is higher.

Execution in Pilsen

In 2018, the share of people in foreclosure in Pilsen reached almost 10%, a year later the indicator reaches the limit of 9%. Currently, it hovers around the 7.5% mark, but the proportion of people who have more than 5 foreclosures (over 3%) is high.

The increase in the non-seizure minimum is against the payment of executions, deductions from wages are not possible for some people, which prolongs the execution proceedings and can lead to other methods of execution, such as confiscation of property. This can be avoided by refinancing loans with a non-bank mortgage. Look for low-cost loans at MojeNebankovka.cz.

How to resolve foreclosure

Timely resolution of the situation is important. In case of problems with repayment of loans, it is necessary to deal with the creditor as soon as possible. The vast majority of loans can be refinanced or have the option of extending the maturity date with a reduction in the monthly payment. A loan without a register helps with refinancing, it is possible to apply for a non-bank loan even during foreclosure. Long-term loans can be obtained even with a negative record in the register of debtors.

End of foreclosures

The good news is that people who get out of debt don’t get into debt again, only a minimal part fall into re-foreclosure. This is helped by legislative changes, as well as the expansion of the possibility to refinance loans on time.
