“This season was incredible. An amazing bunch of great guys, parents and coaches,” the coaches proudly reported. And the results of the little players speak for themselves: they played thirty league games, never lost, scored 274 goals and conceded only 53! Congratulations!
Youth teams of Louna floorball players are doing well this year. The juniors’ exciting run through the second league ended in second place. “Congratulations go to Teplice, which resisted the final pressure of a long string of matches without losing a point. The performance of our youngsters was also reflected in the promotion of A to the division. We have something to build on,” said Lokomotiva Louny coaches.
Younger students finished their performance in the regional championship in first place. The last tournament of the season was played by the team of younger students on April 7. Two district derbies awaited the players from Louna and they were successful in both. In the first match, they dealt with the Mocní Tuleni Podbořany team and won 9:4 in total. In the second match, they were expected to face a tougher opponent, FbC Jazzmani Žatec. They literally rocketed into the match and led 5:0 in the first period. But Žatec did not lay down its weapons, in the end the Louna floorball players had to fight hard for the victory until the end of the game and in the nerve-wracking shootout they finally defended the victory in the ratio of 10:7.
