He was handing out lines of cocaine in a well-known bar in Klato. He escaped from prison

Veverka, who is a native of Pilsen but now lives in Klatovy, told the court that he only started using drugs when he joined Koubík, i.e. last May. “He didn’t give me a salary, I got drugs from him as compensation for working behind the bar. But I only took them until the police raided there last August, and I haven’t used anything since then,” he said.

He organized drug orgies in the bar. He admitted everything in court and agreed to a lower sentence

But Veverka indulged in drugs from Koubík not only for himself, but also for others. “Repeatedly, especially in the alcohol warehouse of this bar, he handed them to other people free of charge by making a 3 to 7 cm long line out of the amount of 0.1 to 0.2 grams of cocaine for each person interested, for immediate use by sniffing,” the state indictment said. representative Marcela Šímová. She added that the defendant handed the drugs to at least five people, repeatedly.

“Everything stated in the indictment is true. I admit my guilt. It was wrong,” said Veverka, who pointed out that he didn’t take a single penny from anyone for lines of cocaine, he gave everything away for free. He admitted that while he has a clean criminal record in the Czech Republic, he was once prosecuted in Germany for the illegal importation of weapons. He was fined 700 euros.

Due to his guilty plea, the evidence was quick, no witnesses had to be called. Although Veverko, who now works in another company in Klato, was threatened with up to five years in prison for distributing cocaine lines, public prosecutor Šímová proposed a conditional sentence and a fine, specifically 14 months suspended for a probationary period of at least 20 months and a fine of 10,000 crowns.

Judge Martina Šimánková agreed with this, only imposing a slightly stricter punishment. Veverka received a sentence of 14 months, suspended for a two-year probationary period, and a fine of 12,000 crowns. “The longer probationary period is imposed because the defendant continues to work in a somewhat risky environment, in a bar,” Šimánková explained. The squirrel still took the punishment with all ten. “If I appeal? Absolutely not,” he declared. And since the plaintiff also waived the appeal, the sentence is final.
