Photos and video: Flora Olomouc 2024 invites you to the Galaxy of Flowers. You will see this this year

The Flora Olomouc 2024 exhibition opened its doors on April 25, 2024, and you can visit it until Sunday, April 28, 2024. The regular entrance fee costs CZK 200, and you can save a few crowns when buying tickets online. During the exhibition, public transport is strengthened, so you should not waste a lot of time when traveling from the train station or from various parking lots.

Parking at the exhibition center is limited by space and is reserved for exhibitors and organizers during the exhibition. You can leave your car somewhere on the streets and pay the parking fee, or rely on the reserved parking lot at Galeria Šantovka, which is free for visitors to the exhibition. It is a few hundred meters to the various side entrances to the park with ticket offices, and over a kilometer to the main gate, but it is certainly possible to reach it with a pleasant walk.

An interesting program for any weather

During our visit on Thursday, when we took photos and video, the weather was sunny at first, then rain showers from the flower stalls drove us into the covered pavilion with the Bonsai exhibition and we also looked into the greenhouses, which are free during the exhibition.

Everything interesting is in the video and photos. There is definitely something to look at, from the first steps in the Galaxy of Flowers, you will find a lot of interesting flowers and plants throughout the exhibition grounds, many of which you can buy and enrich your garden. The rich program will introduce you to, for example, the tying of flowers, you can look at an exhibition of bouquets and vote for the best one in your opinion.

In the garden, in the pantry and in the fridge

There is plenty of food and drink on the park paths and in the buildings near the various stands, you will certainly not be in want. In addition to enrichment for your garden, you can also take away some treats, sausages, cheese or fish. There is a lot to see, a lot to enjoy, and if you like flowers, you probably won’t find a better weekend program.
