Sunday, April 28, will belong to music at the Anglo-American University (AAU) in Prague. The students here are organizing another year of a day full of music and dance called the Spring Music Festival. The program will take place directly in the courtyard of the Thurn-Taxis Palace, where the AAU is based, and also in the local Café des Taxis.

Singers Erika Nováková and Izabela Chalupníková will perform with a mix of pop and jazz music or DJ Gadjo at the event, which starts on Saturday at 2 p.m. and will last until 7 p.m. He has been working on Radio 1 for a long time and regularly performs in clubs in London, Hamburg and Berlin. Various workshops and student performances will also be held here.

Talented AAU students Genevieve Flores and Brooklyn Ferens, as well as her graduate under the stage name DJ Enzo, who will spin the latest tracks along with timeless classics on Saturday afternoon, will also be performing on the stage at the Turn-Taxis Palace.

Outside the stage, attractive entertainment for students, children and adults awaits visitors in the form of face painting, glittering tattoos and handmade jewellery. Representatives of the university’s yoga, dance and football clubs have prepared workshops that will interest experienced yogis and dance and football enthusiasts.

A search game for children: From the diary of the blue-eyed cat

Another quest game, this time for children aged 7-13, will introduce the adventures of Blue-Eyes the cat and let players see the strange world of bipeds from a cat’s perspective. The goal of the game is to solve a crossword puzzle. Whoever correctly fills in the secret can enter the draw for the book From the Diary of a Blue-Eyed Cat by Josef Kolář. The game contains 9 stations that can be visited in any order, at each station players will find an entry from the diary of the cat Blue-Eyes, a crossword puzzle in the “cat language” and a voluntary task from the life of cats. Game duration: 45 minutes. Suitable for children from 7 to 10 years old or even younger children accompanied by their parents.
