The Pilsen Region Half Marathon knows its winner – PHOTOS

The Pilsen region half-marathon is over. The weather was kind to the runners, most ran the entire route with a smile on their face.

On Saturday, April 27, more than a thousand runners set out on the course of the Pilsen Region Half Marathon. One of the biggest sporting events in the region took place this year for the ninth time.

The background was traditionally in the Škodaland complex in Pilsen. The challenging track led from the Škodaland area through Litice, Šlovice, Dobřany and Lhota back to the České údolí water reservoir.

There were a total of seven refreshment stations along the race route. Refreshments were prepared in Šlovice, at the railway crossing in the Šlovice – Dobřany section, in Dobřany, Dobré Štěstí, Lhota, K Lávce street and at the finish line.

The winner of the Pilsen Region Half Marathon is Adam Korecký, who already held a considerable lead in Lhota.

For those who did not train enough for the full length of the half-marathon, the organizer Pilsen Region prepared shorter routes – Regional Ten, Regional Five, Team Run. Children could also run, children’s runs were also free and every child received a gift!
