Klára Sedlo: Something conscious
Azyl Gallery prepared an exhibition of the very distinctive painter Klára Sedlo. Curator Reny Mužik will open the opening. The exhibition presents a selection from the work of one of the most recognized and sought-after female painters of the young generation, whose professor was Michael Rittstein and Professor Jiří Petrbok. A gathering of witches at the Lüftnerka farm
The April program at the ZOO will end 30. 4. at 3:00 p.m. a gathering of witches and wizards at the Lüftnerka farmhouse with a spooky fairy-tale educational trail, a contest for Miss Witch, other contests for children, a roasting of dumplings and an overall unique spooky atmosphere. Ceremonial opening of the Ethnographic Museum of Pilsen and the Celebration of May Day

From 3:00 p.m., in the atrium of the Chotěšovský House of the Ethnographic Museum of Pilsen, the “Making May Festival” will take place, which will be accompanied by a performance by the children’s folklore group Mladinka z Pilsen. The celebration will end at 5:30 p.m. with a chamber concert by the folklore group Lidová muzika z Chrást.
“Visitors will have the unique opportunity to view the newly reconstructed permanent exhibitions of the museum and view three short-term exhibitions: Critically endangered phenomena of our dialects, Karel Klostermann and the birth of Šumava, Wood – sheet metal – paper… born in the workshop of Václav Žákovec,Romana Němečková, the spokesperson of the West Bohemian Museum in Pilsen, invites to the opening ceremony.
The Center for Experimental Ethnology of the West Bohemian Museum in Pilsen will also be made available to the public for the first time. Thanks to the reconstruction of the building, two completely new visitor circuits were created. The first section of the permanent exhibition is devoted to the period 1830–1900 and shows the life of an individual who comes from a rural environment to Pilsen from birth to old age. The second visitor circuit is devoted to clothing and selected ways of living in the city of Pilsen and in the suburban areas of the Pilsen countryside.

Hard terrycloth is a performance by students of the 3rd year of the Duncan Center Conservatory, choreographed by Marta Trpišovská Vodenková. The students together with the author chose for them the current topic of relationships in the collective. The work is characterized by drama, dynamism and humor.
“We were inspired by pleasures and nightmares, two opposing and extreme emotions and situations – a topic that was close to the students. As part of the creation process, the students found themselves in the roles of creative dancers who provide the basis for the movement vocabulary of the entire piece,” says the author of the work, Marta Trpišovská Vodenková.
