The valuation of pensions is to be more generous next January than this year

Falling inflation reduces the pressure on the wallets of seniors, but also on the regular January valuations of pensions. Nevertheless, according to the estimates of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, the average pension could exceed the threshold of twenty-one thousand crowns from the beginning of next year. While people on vacation or disabled people have improved by an average of 360 crowns since January of this year, further valorization could reach 430 crowns. The fact that for a limited period of time the increase in real wages will not be reflected in the valuation is also a sign of the slower rate of increase in pensions.

According to e15, Czech businessmen are launching massive investments in one of the most attractive industrial locations in Europe. In the course of the next two years alone, they will invest more than 1.5 billion in the reconstruction and expansion of the transfer station Haniska near Košice, which is also known as Interport. The transshipment from broad gauge to narrow gauge gained significant importance after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, and its expansion became important for the entire European Union. It approved a subsidy of 50 million euros (1.25 billion crowns) for its transformation last year. In the coming years, the site can become one of the most attractive places for European industry. The Volvo car company is already planning to invest on the site, and the US Steel Košice iron works are also located nearby.

Central Europe made a mockery of Wall Street. Exotic Budapest is the leader, followed by Prague

The American Nasdaq market full of stock stars from the technology industry, the Indian floor bringing together representatives of the country’s ambitious economy and, next to it, the stock market of Central Europe. The apparently dramatically disparate trio of markets has a strong common denominator over the past year: All of these markets coincidentally earned over 35 percent for investors. On the world stock market map, Central Europe, which is otherwise unremarkable, has thus, through the lens of the CECE index, which maps the development of almost three dozen of the most important titles from the center of the continent, managed to leave behind the iconic American S&P 500 index in the last twelve months, twice exceeded the average growth of the global stock market, or even grew three times faster compared to the rest of the old continent. Now it stands at a crossroads, playing to defend its role as an unexpected stock market favorite.
