PRAGUE – Failure to pay alimony did not pay off for a man who was caught by the police after ten years. They detained him during the past week at the Libeň Railway Station, and then took him to prison. Police spokesman Jan Rybanský informed about the case.

For less than ten years, the man was listed in police records as a nationally wanted person. “Colleges from Vysočina, where the man had a permanent residence, led Prague crime investigators from the third police district to the trail of the wanted man. During the last few months, they obtained information that the wanted person should be moving in the territory of the metropolis and passed it on to their colleagues in Prague,” said Rybanský. Thanks to the photograph and local and personal knowledge, the Prague police managed to find out where the man moves and that he also goes to work outside of Prague. He was arrested at the Liben railway station, and then he went to prison.
