Saturday, May 4

Beginning of the 2024 museum season

The 56th visitor season of the Kbela Aviation Museum will begin on May 4 with a ceremonial opening. The museum will be open in the summer season, May to September, every day except Monday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. It will be open on weekends in October. The last visitor is admitted to the museum at 5:30 p.m.

Kačerov Depot open day

Fiddler: Rain Man

Charlie tries to reverse the will and takes Ray out of the institution. A joint trip to Los Angeles will eventually change the lives of both brothers… The touching Oscar-winning story about the journey of the profiteer Charlie and his autistic brother Raymond to mutual rapprochement and personal transformation is returning to Czech theater boards after a long hiatus. This theatrical “road movie” offers a gradating story, gentle humor and a detailed psychological drawing of the two brothers. The title character of Raymond is a huge acting opportunity for the versatile talent of Matouš Ruml, supported by the direction of Adély Stodolová, who once again uniquely combines her directing and choreographic experience in Rain Man.

100 for 100 or we are celebrating 100 years

Fidlovačka: Branick’s miracle

A search game for children: From the diary of the blue-eyed cat

What is it like to look at the world through the eyes of a little kitten? You will find out in the new play From the Diary of a Blue-Eyed Cat, inspired by the book of the same name by Josef Kolář, which Helena Zmatlíková gave an unmistakable form. Another quest game, this time for children aged 7-13, will introduce the adventures of Blue-Eyes the cat and let players see the strange world of bipeds from a cat’s perspective. The goal of the game is to solve a crossword puzzle. Whoever correctly fills in the secret can enter the draw for the book From the Diary of a Blue-Eyed Cat by Josef Kolář. The game contains 9 stations that can be visited in any order, at each station players will find an entry from the diary of the cat Blue-Eyes, a crossword puzzle in the “cat language” and a voluntary task from the life of cats. Game duration: 45 minutes. Suitable for children from 7 to 10 years old or even younger children accompanied by their parents.

The world of jellyfish
